AJI Creators - Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how AJI Creators and our third-party partners collect, use, and share information when you use our games and applications.

This single policy covers every application listed in the Apps Covered by This Policy section below. If an app of ours is not listed there, this policy does not apply to it.

By using an App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Our Apps comply with:

• GDPR (for EU users)
• CCPA (for California residents)
• COPPA (we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13)

Our ads implementation follows Google's Families Policy requirements.

Information Collection & Use

Data Stored Only On Your Device

Each App keeps its progress, settings and preferences in local files inside the App's own private storage on your device. None of this is uploaded to any AJI Creators server — we do not operate one.

Data Sent By an App

Two categories of data can leave your device:

• Advertising data — sent to Google AdMob when an App displays an ad. See Advertising Analytics below.
• Leaderboard data — sent only by Merge Maza, when you choose to submit a score. See App-Specific Notes below.

No other App in scope sends data off your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

• Real name, email address or phone number
• Contacts, photos, location or microphone/camera data
• Account credentials — none of our Apps require an account
• Precise device identifiers beyond what the ad SDK reads

Why We Use It

• To run the game and save your progress
• To display and measure advertising
• To operate the Merge Maza leaderboard you explicitly submit to
• To prevent fraud and abuse of rewarded ads

App-Specific Notes

Shadow Avengers

Stores game progress and high scores only on your device, in local files named high_score.dat and game_progress.dat.

Shadow Avengers does not transmit any personal data to AJI Creators servers. The only data that leaves the device is the advertising data described in Advertising Analytics, sent to Google AdMob.

Merge Maza

Local data — stored only on your device, in these files:

• highscore.cfg — your high score
• powerups.cfg — power-up charges
• ads.cfg — rewarded-ad quota counter
• player.cfg — the display name you typed for the leaderboard
• audio.cfg — volume settings
• seen_tiers.cfg — which planets you have already discovered

Online leaderboard — when you submit a score, Merge Maza sends a JSON payload of {"name": ..., "score": ...} containing the display name you chose and your score to a third-party leaderboard host: api.npoint.io. That display name becomes visible to anyone viewing the leaderboard. The host retains submitted entries under its own privacy policy. The name never leaves your device otherwise, and AJI Creators does not associate it with any identifier.

Advertising — Merge Maza shows Google AdMob banner and rewarded ads.

Android permissions requested: INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, AD_ID.

Reload or Rot

Still in development and not yet publicly released. At release this section will be updated to describe its data practices; the App collects nothing today.

Web games: Slime Race, Swim Bomber, Beach Cleanup, Backow!, Form Shift

These are browser builds hosted on itch.io (Backow! is hosted by its jam team). The games themselves contain no analytics, no advertising SDK and no network calls, and collect no personal data.

When you visit an itch.io page, itch.io's own privacy policy applies to the hosting platform.

Advertising Analytics

Apps that display ads use Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

• Device information (model, OS version, IP address)
• Non-personal identifiers (Advertising ID)
• Ad interactions (clicks, impressions)
• Usage data for analytics and fraud prevention

Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Which apps show ads:

• Shadow Avengers — ad-supported
• Merge Maza — ad-supported (banner and rewarded ads)
• All other Apps in scope — no advertising SDK

Personalized Ads

We may serve personalized ads through Google AdMob. You can limit how advertising is personalized:

• Through Google's Ad Settings
• Through your device's advertising options (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization)
• By declining personalised advertising where your device or region offers that choice

Even if you opt out, you will still see ads — they will simply be non-personalized and based on contextual information such as the app you are using or general attributes of your device.

Children's Privacy

Our Apps are intended for a general audience and do not target children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Data Retention

AJI Creators does not operate servers that hold your data, and we retain no user information ourselves.

• Local game data stays on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
• Merge Maza leaderboard entries persist on the third-party leaderboard host until that host removes them.
• Advertising partners retain data according to their respective privacy policies.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• Access: Request copies of your data
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data
• Opt-out: Object to processing of your data

To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. For leaderboard entries, we will forward or remove your display name on your behalf where the host does not expose a self-service mechanism.

You can also delete local data yourself at any time by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling it.

Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information:

• All data transmission uses TLS encryption
• Game data remains locally stored on your device unless an App explicitly sends it
• Regular reviews of our data practices

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Posting the new policy on this page
• Updating the "Effective Date" at the top
• In-app notification for significant changes
